Islender is a Scandinavian term for a thick work shirt or jumper made of wool, and has been used for generations by workers and fishermen. Traditionally, the work shirt was made in white with a black pattern. The name Islender (Icelander) probably comes from the Icelandic company that connected the coastal communities on the North Sea through trade and shipping.
The Islender is Bråten's most popular model. It is available in white/black, black/white and red/black. The white/black version is also available with a collar and zip. Made from 100% Norwegian wool.
